當(dāng)前各類設(shè)計(jì)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)繁多，公信力、專業(yè)性、權(quán)威性日益下降。創(chuàng)建中國(guó)自己的“紅點(diǎn)獎(jiǎng)”、“普利茲克獎(jiǎng)”，已成為設(shè)計(jì)界的共識(shí)。
Today there’re plenty varieties of design awards, so credibility, specialty and authority have become increasingly declined. Hence, to create China’s own “Red Dot Award” and “Pulitzer Prize” has become the consensus in the design circle.

Since 5 Cats Design News Network always promotes pioneer spirit and credibility, it’s very meaningful for 5 Cats to convene and establish the “Global Pioneer Design Awards” through communication and discussion with the representative world renowned designers of the international design circle. This award will select annual “Pioneer Design” works on a global scale to inspire and encourage those outstanding designers, who love design, persevere in their careers and are talented.
由於本次獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)是在中國(guó)設(shè)立，因此獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)命名為“全球先鋒設(shè)計(jì)(中國(guó))大獎(jiǎng)”，從中國(guó)出發(fā)，隨著日後逐步發(fā)展，將逐漸擴(kuò)展為從世界範(fàn)圍內(nèi)甄選出優(yōu)秀設(shè)計(jì)。
This award is named “Global Pioneer Design (China) Awards” because it’s established in China. It will start from China and extend to select excellent designs all over the world along with its gradual development in the future.

This award is aimed at selecting the annual design masterpieces with most pioneering value from all over the world, set design examples with advanced concepts, guide the international design trends, explore and innovate the situation of design career in the present age.

It’s initiated by Global Pioneer Design Association, an association registered in Hong Kong. And it is an international event which is aimed at encouraging and commending top designs and pioneering designs with great talent on a global scale. 1.學(xué)生組別：金獎(jiǎng)1名、銀獎(jiǎng)2名、銅獎(jiǎng)5名；
由設(shè)計(jì)院校學(xué)生獨(dú)立或在教師指導(dǎo)下完成的設(shè)計(jì)專案或設(shè)計(jì)方案。
1. Student category: 1 gold award, 2 silver awards, 5 bronze awards;
Design projects or schemes done by students of colleges and institutes independently or under the guidance of their teachers.
2.商業(yè)組別：金獎(jiǎng)1名、銀獎(jiǎng)2名、銅獎(jiǎng)5名；
各種商業(yè)空間，如各類專賣店、零售商店、美容沙龍、美體中心、購(gòu)物廣場(chǎng)等。
2. Commercial category: 1 gold award, 2 silver awards, 5 bronze awards;
All kinds of commercial spaces, such as various exclusive shops, retail stores, beauty salons, beauty centres and shopping malls.
3.餐廳組別：金獎(jiǎng)1名、銀獎(jiǎng)2名、銅獎(jiǎng)5名；
各種樣式餐飲空間等。
3. Restaurant category: 1 gold award, 2 silver awards, 5 bronze awards;
Various styles of restaurants.

7.2013年度優(yōu)異設(shè)計(jì)師組別 1名：在銀獎(jiǎng)以上類別共計(jì)18名參賽者中產(chǎn)生。
共計(jì) 49個(gè)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。

【參賽方式】[Entry Method]
參賽要求：2010年1月至2013年6月，竣工專案，學(xué)生組可提交設(shè)計(jì)方案專案。
Entry requirements: Completed projects from January of 2010 to March of 2013. Student group could submit design schemes of projects.
參賽方式：Entry Method:
1.通過登陸5只貓網(wǎng)站（https://www.5cats.cc）下載並填寫“首屆2013全球先鋒設(shè)計(jì)(中國(guó))大獎(jiǎng)報(bào)名申請(qǐng)表”，在2013年6月30日前，以電郵的方式提交材料。須提交材料包括：
1. Download and fill out “Application Form of the First Global Pioneer Design (China) Awards in 2013” from the website of 5 Cats (https://www.5cats.cc) and send the materials by email before June 30th, 2013. The materials that shall be submitted include:
①按照要求填寫完畢的報(bào)名申請(qǐng)表；
① The application form filled out in accordance with the requirements;
②參賽作品圖片（5-10幅圖片；jpg格式；每張圖片的精度不大於2兆）；
② Pictures of the entry (5 to 10 pictures; jpg format; the image precision of each picture is not higher than 2 megabit);
③參賽作品的平面圖（1-3幅圖片；jpg格式；每張圖片的精度不大於2兆）；
③ Plan of the entry (1 to 3 pictures; jpg format; the image precision of each picture is not higher than 2 megabit);
④參賽方有效的聯(lián)繫方式（電話及電郵。為賽事公正起見，所以本次賽事無需參賽者提交的資料中注明曾經(jīng)是否獲得過獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)以及獲得過哪些獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)等資訊。專業(yè)評(píng)委完全根據(jù)參賽者對(duì)參賽的設(shè)計(jì)作品進(jìn)行評(píng)分。參賽方報(bào)名時(shí)獲得一個(gè)編號(hào)）；
④ Effective contact information of the contestant (telephone number and email address. The contestants are not required to note if they have got any prizes or awards, or what prizes or awards have they got in the materials submitted for fairness of the event. The professional judges will score purely in accordance with the entries of the contestants. Each contestant will get a number when entering the competition);
⑤大獎(jiǎng)作品提交截止6月30日；
⑤Closing date for applications is 30th日期：2013年 June 2013.
⑥在獲獎(jiǎng)名單公佈之後(2013年9月19日)，向組委會(huì)補(bǔ)齊獲獎(jiǎng)?wù)咴敿?xì)資料。
⑥ The award-winners shall complete their detailed information to the Organizing Committee after the publishing of name list of award-winners (September 19th, 2013).
2.允許參賽者以團(tuán)隊(duì)名義參賽，但在競(jìng)賽過程中，亦被視為與個(gè)體參賽設(shè)計(jì)師資格平等；以個(gè)人或團(tuán)體身份參賽經(jīng)由參賽者自我資料提交後不得更改；
2. It’s allowed that the contestants enter the competition as a team. However, a team will be deemed to have equal qualifications as an individual contestant designer in the competition; it must not be changed that if the contestants enter the competition as individuals or a team after the submission of personal materials;
3.允許每個(gè)參賽者提供多份作品參賽，但每份參賽作品均需提交包含上述內(nèi)容的參評(píng)材料；
3. Each contestant could submit more than one entry, but the entering materials containing the contents mentioned above should be submitted for each entry;
4.主辦方將對(duì)參賽作品材料進(jìn)行形式審查，不完整、不正確或不符合參評(píng)要求的參評(píng)材料將視為無效，主辦方有權(quán)取消任何未能提交完整參評(píng)材料或者提交的參評(píng)材料不符合本規(guī)則要求的參評(píng)者的參評(píng)資格；
4. The sponsor will check the format of the materials of entries and the entering materials that are incomplete, incorrect or don’t meet the entering requirements will be deemed invalid. The sponsor has the right to disqualify any entering qualifications of contestants who failed to submit complete entering materials or submitted entering materials that don’t meet the requirements of this regulation;
5.參評(píng)者在提交作品時(shí)，請(qǐng)選擇所屬的類別，無法確定，或?qū)０腹δ軣o法歸屬在現(xiàn)在的類別時(shí)，可由組委會(huì)來決定所屬類別。
5. The contestants shall choose the categories when submitting the entries. If the contestants could not determine or the functions of projects do not fall into any category, the Organizing Committee will determine if for them.

【評(píng)選流程】[Selection Process]
①參評(píng)：報(bào)名參賽的截止日期是2013年6月30日；
① Entering competition: the closing date for entries is June 30th, 2013;
②評(píng)審：2013年7月1日-8月31日，由全球先鋒設(shè)計(jì)(中國(guó))大獎(jiǎng)組委會(huì)將參賽作品以電郵形式提交至各國(guó)家的評(píng)審專家，每個(gè)評(píng)委根據(jù)參賽作品的設(shè)計(jì)水準(zhǔn)進(jìn)行評(píng)審打分，滿分為10分，由高分到低分，產(chǎn)生獲獎(jiǎng)名單；
② Review: Global Pioneer Design (China) Awards Organizing Committee will submit the entries to the review experts in different countries by email from July 1st, 2013 to August 31st, 2013. Each judge will review and score the entries according to the design levels. The full marks are 10 points. The award-winners will be selected according to the scores;
③2013年9月19日，5只貓（https://www.5cats.cc）公佈獲獎(jiǎng)名單。
③ 5 Cats (https://www.5cats.cc） will publish the Name List of Award-winners on September 19th, 2013.
【普遍規(guī)則】[General Rule]
寧缺毋濫。
因此，在各設(shè)計(jì)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)類別的專業(yè)評(píng)委認(rèn)為該獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)不具備獲得該獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)的專業(yè)資格時(shí)，如：金獎(jiǎng)、銀獎(jiǎng)、銅獎(jiǎng)，以及年度優(yōu)異設(shè)計(jì)師獎(jiǎng)時(shí)，則該獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)可出現(xiàn)空缺；以上情況，是全球先鋒設(shè)計(jì)(中國(guó))大獎(jiǎng)組委會(huì)視為可以允許出現(xiàn)的狀況。
Rather go without than have something shoddy.
Therefore, if the professional judges of each design category think this award didn’t reach the professional level of this award, such as gold award, silver award, bronze award, or annual excellent designer award, this award may be vacant; Global Pioneer Design (China) Awards Organizing Committee regard the situation above as a possible condition.

7組評(píng)委簽名體現(xiàn)在證書上；
中英雙語(yǔ)；
獲獎(jiǎng)證書特別設(shè)計(jì)，證書模版預(yù)先在網(wǎng)站上展示。
The signatures of 7 judges will be on the certificates;

The certificates are specially designed and their templates will be displayed on the website in advance.
【獲獎(jiǎng)獎(jiǎng)盤】[Award Medals]
當(dāng)年度只頒發(fā)一枚“年度優(yōu)異設(shè)計(jì)師”獎(jiǎng)盤，該獎(jiǎng)盤精緻精美，手工白銅打造。
There is only one “Annual Excellent Designer” medal to be awarded this year, which is hand-made from copper-nickel and very exquisite and elegant.

【頒獎(jiǎng)事項(xiàng)】[Award Presentation Matters]
本次賽事不舉辦集體形式的頒獎(jiǎng)典禮；
There will not be an award presentation ceremony of collective form for this event;
大獎(jiǎng)組委會(huì)將負(fù)責(zé)快遞獲獎(jiǎng)證書予參賽者；
The Awards Organizing Committee will be responsible for sending the award certificates to the contestants by express delivery;
年度優(yōu)異設(shè)計(jì)師獎(jiǎng)獲獎(jiǎng)?wù)邔@得一枚國(guó)際評(píng)委簽名的獎(jiǎng)盤；
The winner of Annual Excellent Designer will get a medal with signatures of the judges on it. (The medal will be sent to each judge for signature by global express delivery);

The Awards Organizing Committee will escort this medal to the design company of the winner and award it there or another place the winner chooses, such as the site of the award-winning design project or other memorable places. The award-winner shall submit the award presentation place to Global Pioneer Design (China) Awards Organizing Committee for approval before October 19th and the medal will be awarded after that.

2.參評(píng)者參加本次大獎(jiǎng)的任何一個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)或全部，即視為已完全瞭解並完全接受包括本規(guī)則及其解釋在內(nèi)的各項(xiàng)條宣傳展示款；
2. The contestant is deemed to understand and accept all the publicity and display articles including this regulation and its explanations completely if he/she takes part in any part of or the whole competition;
3.如有其他方對(duì)參賽作品提出知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)方面的爭(zhēng)議，由參賽者自行處理並承擔(dān)一切法律責(zé)任，如主辦方因此而被捲入糾紛，所造成的一切損失，概由參賽者承擔(dān)；
3. If other parties dispute about the intellectual property of the entries, the contestants shall deal with it on their own and bear all the legal liabilities. If the sponsor is involved in the dispute because of this, the contestants shall bear all the loss caused to the sponsor;
4.本大賽的解釋權(quán)及修改權(quán)歸主辦方；
4. The sponsor has the power of interpretation and revision of the award.
5.本規(guī)則自發(fā)布之日起生效。
